We use MINDBODY at Hothouse, it’s the place where you’ll manage all your info including class reservations, payment, and rewards.
We recommend subscribing to class email and text notifications, so you’re guaranteed to get alerted about important class updates like cancellations. Marketing emails are good too (promise we rarely spam you); and when we do it’s for things like sales or community events.
BOOK YOUR CLASS
Once you have an account with us, you’ll book your classes through the MINDBODY WEB PORTAL, or download the MINDBODY APP for mobile access.
Buy single drop-ins, or save a little with our class packs. And we definitely recommend signing up for our Rewards program. It’s free money — with every class you book, build a rewards balance that can be applied to a purchase when you’d like to redeem.

INTRO TO DANCE SERIES
Have you always dreamed of taking a dance class, but you don't know where to start? Or, maybe you’re comfortable in a specific style but want to branch out. We've got you covered! Intro to Dance is for capital-b Beginners- we will show you how dance classes work, from warm up to combo, and everything in between.
Each month, we offer a new Intro class, specific to one of the dance genres we offer at Hothouse. This is a 3-week series that builds on the week before. Come once, or come for all 3, and leave ready to try Hothouse's other ongoing classes.

We get this question more than you’d think. A lot of people walk in after years away from dancing. Life happens, but your body doesn’t forget as much as you think. Our classes are full of people at different levels, so you won’t be the only one finding your footing again. Start where you are — you’ll be surprised how quickly it comes back once you’re in the room!

You’re not alone. So many people take their very first class here as adults, and nerves are part of the process. Trying something new always feels big — that’s the point. Our teachers and community are here to support you, not judge you. Dance is for everyone, and your only job is to show up as you.

It depends on the class of course, but here are some general recommendations:
Hip Hop & Jazz Funk

Naturally, heels are the main option. However, we have many people start their heels journey in sneakers. If you’re new to this style, select a shoe with ankle support, a lower rise, and a chunkier heel (vs. a stiletto)Broadway

Absolutely not. Our classes are for adults of all ages and levels, and you’ll see plenty of different experiences in the room! Listen to your body, move at your own pace, and know you belong here.

Are you under 16 years of age? Then, yes, unfortunately! Hothouse is pretty exclusively for adults, but we will allow dancers as young as 16 to take class.
